Updates October 13th

Saturday 10/14:

Candyland Carnival & Craft Fair: School Grounds  HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Thursday, 10/19:

Digital Literacy & Citizenship Night  6:30 – 7:30pm Multi Purpose Room

Please take a moment to take the survey

See the flyer for more information.

Please monitor children in the mornings and afternoons by not allowing them to climb the trees on campus. We understand the temptation, but it is not a safe activity given that the ground below is so hard and dry. Also please note that the play structure is closed during morning drop off. There are too many students on the yard and simply not enough eyes for supervision. We would also ask that no one play ball in the mornings as well. The balls are flying into groups and there have been some minor injuries.

Quick ways to help Napa fire victims

  • Send in pennies and coins for the penny drive
  • Buy a treat from the Girl Scout Bake Sale Friday, October 13th after school
  • Send in any of the following food items: ( this is for specific meals coordinated by Mercy Chefs. This group goes in and cooks in hard-hit and devastated areas to cook for the those displaced and the first responders):
  • Raw red potatoes
  • Canned tomatoes
  • Canned pie filling
  • Dry cake mix
  • Brownie mix
  • Corn bread mix
  • Onions
  • Peppers
  • Ziti/Elbow pasta
  • Marinara sauce
  • Butter
  • Salt

As many of you know we’ve stayed in this week due to the smokey air. The kids have been happy to have indoor recess.

If your child suffers from asthma please make sure their inhaler medication is in the office, and the medicine is up to date.
