The Scholastic Book Fair/Bake Sale starts tomorrow at 1pm in the Cabrillo Multipurpose Room. All of the proceeds from the sale benefit our school library. There will be popcorn as well as a wide selection of homemade baked goods on sale for 50 cents, so please send your student with change. (Book Fair items can be purchased with cash, checks, and all major credit cards).
The hours of the Book Fair are:
Monday: 1pm – 4pm
Tuesday: 8am-9am, 1pm-4pm
Wednesday: 1pm – 4pm
Thursday: 1pm-3:30pm, 6pm-8pm (with storytime at 7pm)
Friday: 1pm – 4pm
If you are unable to attend the book fair in person, or would like to order items that are not available at the fair, you can also purchase books online at:
Any items purchased through this link between October 23 and November 10 will still benefit our school library.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to help at the fair, or donate baked goods! Thank you especially to Nancy Rickson for creating the adorable monster display in the lobby, and to Stephanie Symons (my co-chair), Lauren Reynolds (our school librarian), Lana Gala, and Cabrillo alumni Celia Rickson, Danny Fryslie, and Rose Kleinfeld for setting up the fair.
We still need a few more volunteers. If you are interested in helping at the fair or donating baked goods, please check out our sign-up genius at:
