If you have never attended a January Jazz event in the past, I can assure you that you have been missing out on some great music, delicious food, and a lot of fun. There are even opportunities to dance at the evening event. It all happens on Saturday, January 27.

The afternoon concert at 4:00 PM will feature our students in the Cabrillo/ Vallemar Jazz Band Together, the IBL/OS Jazz Band, and our special guests, the Terra Nova High School Jazz Ensemble.

The evening concert will feature Mo Jazz, and Jazz on Blue. We are awaiting a call from our third featured artists, but this whole event will be catered with delicious cajun food, and a silent auction. This event begins at 7:00 PM. Michael Pritchard Coming To Cabrillo

Comedian and inspirational speaker Michael Pritchard is coming to Cabrillo on Thursday February 1.

We are having two assemblies with him that morning.

1st – 4th Grades will be in the first assembly at 8:30 AM with 5th – 8th Grades seeing him at the 9:00 AM assembly.

Michael brings a message of truth about the world that kids and adults can understand, and delivers it in a positive, “can-do” tone. His is a story of positive change and making every day better for your fellow human.

If you’d like to come to see this assembly which has been paid for by our PTO we do have limited seating of about 20 seats for adults per show. Please call the office and reserve your space. Be sure to let us know if you want to attend the 8:30 AM assembly or the 9:00 AM assembly. Thank you.
