Special Family Information Meeting following the PTO Meeting at 7:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room:  
Captain Spanheimer from the Pacifica Police Department will be here to talk to our community about the Big 5 Emergency Plan and Procedures.  In addition, our own District-Wide Mental Health Counselor, Kristina Ireson, will speak to us about our Risk Assessment Policies and Procedures.
The Big 5 conversation will include information about the various emergencies that might happen to a school, and how the District, School, and First Responders would work together in an emergency.
Our Risk Protocol has been developed in conjunction with San Mateo County Mental Health Services to address students who might be at risk of, or has had ideation of suicide.  This is an important informative evening discussing growing concerns and issues.

The Boys and Girls Club will be closed on Sept. 6 and 7.  Please make a note of it, and plan child care accordingly.

Got a used refrigerator that is in good working condition that you’d like to donate?  
The refrigerator in our staff room has decided to take on only one job – freezing everything.  Therefore, if you have a slightly used one that you would like to donate, we would be happy to have it.  Please note:  Our refrigerator gets a lot of use, so it does need to be in good working condition.  And, thanks in advance!

Educational Enrichment Drive.
Thank you in advance for giving to the Educational Enrichment Drive.  Your generous gifts help to ensure that we continue our great work in creative arts, teacher support, and excellent student learning in our school.

Lost and Found Information.
Can’t find a jacket, or a lunch box?  Our lost and found is located in our B-Wing hallway.  However, a better way to keep track of things is to make sure that their names are written on the inside of the clothing, or somewhere on the item.  If we find them with names on them, we take them right to the owner.

Lunch Account Information

Please be sure to check your child’s lunch account.  There is no borrowing this year.  You can pay with cash and check in the front office, or go to EZpay.com.  You do need your child’s Permanent ID number located in the top center of your child’s yellow emergency card.

Grade 5 – 8 are able to buy a breakfast during their AM recess.  Grades 5 and 6 recess is at 10:30 AM and grades 7 and 8 recess is at 11:50 AM.  Breakfast is also offered to all students before school from 8:00 – 8:15 AM.   All breakfasts cost $2.00.  Snack bar (offered at 5 – 8 recesses, and during lunch to grades 4 – 8) costs range from .50¢ to $2.00. A student can charge their lunch account for these items.
